About Us

Our Story

Studstix was born from wire problems on a job site and an idea for a solution. Marion, a seasoned electrician, invented the original Studstix after years of frustration with existing tools that just didn’t get the job done right. He started manufacturing the first batches himself in his old boss’s shop — cutting and welding every piece by hand.

As demand grew, Marion partnered with Teancum and Roundy Manufacturing. Teancum has years of experience working in the trades as well. That collaboration allowed Studstix to scale while keeping the same hands-on quality and attention to detail that defined the earliest prototypes. What began as one innovative product has now evolved into a growing family of tools designed for tradespeople across the industry.

Today, Studstix continues to expand beyond its flagship product, developing reliable, purpose-built tools that make real work easier, safer, and more efficient.

Our Mission

Our mission is to equip tradespeople with thoughtfully designed tools that eliminate frustration and boost productivity on every job. We believe the people doing the work deserve better than “good enough.” Every product we create is rooted in real-world experience, built to last, and engineered to solve problems that matter on the jobsite.

What Makes Us Different

•  Built by Tradespeople, for Tradespeople — Every tool starts with input from professionals who use it daily.

•  Innovation with Purpose — We don’t create gadgets for the sake of novelty. We solve actual pain points.

•  Small-Batch Attention, Scaled Production — We maintain quality standards even as we grow.

•  Continuous Evolution — We’re not a one-product company. We’re excited to build tools for all the trades.

Made in USA

Every Studstix Tool is proudly designed and manufactured in the United States. From the initial prototypes to production, we’re committed to keeping our Manufacturing here on American Soil. We believe American craftsmanship, fair wages, and strong quality control aren’t just nice-to-haves — they’re essential to delivering tools you can trust day after day.
